We produce one-of-a-kind social media.

3 Things to know about your own unicorn

How to Be Seen

There is a recipe for creating viral social media, the unicorn of marketing. It’s a delicate balance of storytelling, paid advertising, and influencer development. Market timing is also helpful.  A one-of-a-kind social media post has a call to action, is shareable, and lives on a page that can support its needs.

How to Be Heard

Saying it directly, saying it through subtext, showing it visually, and inviting sharing are all necessary to be heard. That moment of registration, where your content reaches the heart of a viewer, is when it is heard. Signs of being listened to include checks coming in out of the blue, your post being shared over 30 times, and website visitor traffic up by over 10%.

The Ultimate Unicorn: Long Form Video

We are finding magical success with long-form video. Social media and entertainment have been converging, and recent developments integrating big-screen television into streaming media allow us to engage people deeply in our stories. Our clients are complex living organisms that adapt to serve the greatest needs of those they serve. Nonprofits do fascinating work! People genuinely want to learn more about what you do. We can show you how.

Social media is all media.

Facebook is the tip of the iceberg

We are having great success with Facebook / Instagram advertising, and Google and YouTube advertising, producing actionable results like donations, and community engagement. Lately, we haven’t been using TikTok or LinkedIn advertising frequently because of low response rates or high costs. We have many opinions about what works and what doesn’t work, based on practical experience. “Which social media do you like the best?” is a little like asking, “Which newspaper do you like the best?”  We would obviously prefer the LA Times for a Los Angeles-based client.  That same thinking applies to social media. We would obviously prefer Instagram over LinkedIn for donations. If you’d like to know why, contact us!
